dx7 query

its a puzzle really after my latest rebuild with the 600nsp i have set everything at zero at mid stick .i have set +12 -12 now this is were it's a bit strange i have set strait line pitchs at norm,st1 and st2 .throttle is 0-50-100 at norm and 100-50-100 at st1 and st2 now with the throttle at mid stick at norm when i switch to st1 the cyclic servos change slightly as does the throttle servo so i have changed pitch and throttle curves to trim out these slight movements so i now have at norm 0-22.5-46.5-73.0-100,st1 and st2 are 0=25-50-75-100 throttle curves are norm o-inh-50-inh-100 and st1/st2 are both 100-47.5-100 could it be there is a problem with the tx or is this normal with the dx7. has aneone else had this sort of issue

how strange i entered 0-25-50-75-100 in the above post but it registered as a skipe no lol

Brin, are your trims all the same in every mode i.e. Norm, st1, st2? Not subtrims, just the normal ones mate.

check the hover trim and pitch trim

Have you checked the trims in each flight mode though Brian? They are all independant of each other.

hi pete .the only trims that are set are sub trims and that was to level the swash as i got it as near as possible mechanically and then trimmed out the rest .with the settings i have now there is no changes when i switch from norm to st1 and st2 at mid stick but the settings say there should be???

hi jamie .yes all are centered mate thats why i am puzzeled .could it be the electronics in the dx7 ?

ahhh but the hover trim and pitch trim are like hidden annoying ones right at the top of the tx, u cld of moved them by mistake, just a thought

Does the servo monitor screen show any changes to the cyclic servo outputs when you are switching between modes? I'd be tempted to setup a new memory and check it again. Don;t copy between the 2 though, just start a fresh one.

yes mate thats what i have checked things with and there is now no changes so everything stays where it should be but the figures in the curves show differently?

check for expo in the pitch curves in normal,idle 1,idle 2 other than that hover trims.
