Dx8 voltages?

Right I have just finished putting the Dx8 on to my flybarless 600.

But I not 100% happy with the regulator
I have used the regulator but when you look at the voltage it's putting out it's 5.8 volts until you move the sticks. I understand that it will drop a bit but I started with 5.2 volt alarm and that goes off to easy.
now down to 4.8 volts and I think that will go off when flying.

What alarms are other's running?

Also would a better Regulator help?

The regulator should maintain the set voltage up until the max power rating, so 6 or 8A usually. Then I'd expect the voltage to start fluctuating. I'm pretty sure the flightech 8a reg on my N9 stayed pretty constant throughout the flight when I used the telemetry on Sunday.

sounds like a crap regulator as the whole point of regulated voltage is it stays constant (ie. it is actually regulated). I'd expect to see a little drop under load (say 0.2 volts) but then it should hold constant until the regulator trips out due to overheat (ie. pushed beyond it's limits for amps).

Is that the Align 2-in-1 Paul?
Where is the voltage sensor plugged in?
I haven't seen the telemetry function so don't know too much about it.
If you are running long leads and have the voltage sensor plugged in somewhere remote you can get a voltage drop across the wiring.
Don't know what or how you have yours set mate.

Sorry guys went out to fly
But Had a call on the way that some other bits where in so went to get them
Then ended up at a Indoor flying group.

The voltage is measured with the standard leads from the telemetry unit.
Yes it is a 2 in1 but might be one for the bin then
it seems OK until I move servos fast I mean faster then in flight for me at the moment.

I think I will try a different one just in case
