  • DX7 - LED on back?

Could someone confirm what the LED on the back of the DX7 does under normal operation? Is it On or Off?

I've had mine three years, own about six receivers, but can't remember whether it is normally on or off! At the field I wouldn't need to look at it and it may not have been bright enough to notice. I've had a receiver seemingly pack up on me today and want to be 100% certain that the DX7 is ok. It binds to another receiver so ought to be good.

    Thanks.
    Tim.

it's green as long as the radio is transmitting. You'll hear the buzzing sound from the transmitter's power supply.
when you push the bind button, it turns off, and the buzzing sound stops.
If it's off all the time, it may be possible that the Tx is in range check mode all the time, with greatly reduced transmit power.
