  • Futaba T8fg and phoenix lead

When I had my T7 the square training lead would loose connection on a regular basis when using phoenix. I ended up adding a 3.5mm jack to resolve the problem.

Now my T8fg is doing the same - I have tried a new lead but find that I am really having to push it in hard.

I've also got the futaba training lead with the voltage dropper in and again it seems that I have to push very hard to get the plug fully in.

I'm a bit worried that in the end something will break.

Thanks but I'd rather have just one small problem.

The female sockets on the TX have a pcb behind them and therefor can stand a reasonable force to plug the tail in. I always found on the phoenix lead the problems were with the jack sockets not making a good contact and ended up putting the futaba plug directly on the dongle lead. It may also be that they are using a third party plug for the sim lead that is a bit stiff on the housing you can undo them and posibly go arround the housing with a nail file to make it fit a bit easyer.... I also understand what would happen with a dodgy trainer lead whilst in use it can cause a bunch of trouble....

Cheers, never had a problem with the training lead not making contact just that it's a bit stiff.

          I'll try the file.
