There is no sim socket on a DX7SE so you need to use it with a wireless adaptor.....

The SE operates at 11ms frame rate, the DX7 at 22ms.
Other than cosmetic changes, and no buddy lead port on the SE, that's it!

If you don't require the higher frame rate and the socket to buddy or sim use then save a few bob and go for the standard DX7.
If you want a DX7SE I have a near new one I'm about to sell.
