I prefer to set my throttle low end point with zero trim, high end point with zero trim, that way I have maximum top and bottom points set perfectly. Trim to start/idle, throttle cut to take it back to the low end point where the engine will cut because the carb is fully closed.

Each to their own I guess?

    Cheers,

however... all the governors require a zero throttle to be set not idle.

I agree, from whatI have read the governors require the full range with the carb from fully closed to fully open, thats why it wa doing my head in. Now that I've changed the way the trim works for channel 3 it just moves the bottom end so now the TJ is set correctly and I can set the trim to idle. Just tested it and it works great Cheers all
