  • Is the Ar500 full range

Just been reading about the Ar500 as I want to use these in my two new planes.

These are not parkflyer rx's are they?

Cheers for that, I need something that is full range. What problems have you had with the 500?

got glitches with two of them and lost signal completely with one .6100's/6200's now but we have others at the club that use 500's in ducted fans models with no trouble

I've run at least 3 AR500s with no problems at all. They are full range, unlike the AR6100 which is definately a park flyer and has a flimsy case. Lots of folk use AR6200 for planes (perhaps they like the remote antenna?) but that just seems like a waste to me, especially as I'm generally only using 3 channels, 4 tops.

I'll get a Ar500 as apart from being full range allows me to use separate servos for ailerons without a Y lead.

Well here is my two new (well new to me) planes:

First is a 3D 400 which will be used to practice my A cert

The second is a P68C Twin which needs a restore so will be grounded for sometime.

I've got 2 AR500, cheap as chips, but perform great in my experiance.

I can fly my Wot-4 at the limit of my excellent long sight with no issue whatever. It's just the tit-on-the-sticks that has to be careful

Why does it always persist down at weekends ?
