  • Dx6i RX and servo problem ??!

Ok, so i have a new Belt CP Carbon, and im TRYING to use my ar6100e and dx6i on it, but things seem a little muddled up.

    The throttle/pitch operates elevator
The elevator operates the collect pitch and all the servos move.
Both aileron servos are moving correctly.
    And so is the rudder.

I have the swash setting as 120' CCPM which from what i know is correct, switching both aileron servos around in aux and ail port makes no difference either.

    What could this be ???

Sounds like your DX6i is a mode 1 tx.

Yeah i was thinking that, but the tx has always been in mode 2, and now it has the rudder and elevator the left side, and aileron and throttle on the other.

Isnt mode 1 rudder and throttle on right and elevator and aileron on the left ?

      Thanks

Or you just need to reverse a channel

..either on the reverse screen or the AFR menu, forgot tbh and my Tx is at home.

But surely reversing it would just make it change direction, not switch sides?

          thanks

Sam if i were you i would start from scratch
double check you have all the servo's in the correct slots then

set throttle hold or better still disconnect the motor then

move the throttle stick up and down. all three servo's should move together,as you raise the stick the swash should fall. as you lower it the swash should rise.( if there is a problem go to the reverse menu in the set up list and alter the pitch/airl/elev servo's till they all work together correctly.

            now the right stick.
            stand behind the heli.
each movement of the right stick should move the swash the same. eg forward tilts the swash forward etc. if you have a problem go to the swash mix menu. you will see the 3 values set with either a + or - %
if the swash tips back instead of forwards change the value of the elev mix to opposite what it is now set at(eg from +60% to -60%)
if the swash tips right instead of left change the airl value to opposite.
if the swash tips at an angle when you apply forward stick change the pitch mix value to opposite

like sacko said, i had to reverse a servo

              My fault

I started a new model, and plugged everything in, it did the same, so i reversed the ail servo and 'wolla', the heli is fixed.

Now all i need is a 11.1v 2200mah battery to get it up in the air

                Thanks but its fine now.

I have a mode 2 DX6i, i think i may have just set it up on a previous model memory, so i started a new model, and reversed the ail and its fine now.

                Thanks everyone
