  • Strange DX7 Se Pitch curve

I was setting up a model for someone today and he is using the above Tx. Using the model he had it setup on I couldn't get a straight line pitch curve. O,inh,50,inh,100 gave me an input of 50 and an out of 66 at midstick. Anyone seen this before, it was if something had been mixed in somehow and I couldn't find it, although I didn't think that this would affect the pitch settings.

Even when copying it stayed with the memory. Started from scratch and it was fine, anyone any ideas.

Would that affect the curve though, it doesn't on my 9X2.

        Probably PITCH / HOVER trim!
        Or
        Throttle trim

But would this actively change the pitch curve visually in the setup menu?

I've had this before but can't quite remember
I'm sure it was one of the trim settings
I'll have a dodo with the tranny when I get hold of it later

Oops, for some reason i thought you were talking about throttle curve.

Yes adding expo physicall changes the appearance of the curve with expo.

That explains it then. It's strange that on my 9X2 I can add as much expo as I want and it makes no difference to the curve visualisation. Odd to do that really, as expo is control surface selectable they being Aileron and elevator and rudder if needed. This shouldn't affect the pitch curve should it. Thanks for checking, clear to me, even if I do think it's a bit odd. Thanks

I can reproduce it with hover trim, getting 65 max at midstick.
Maybe it reaches 66 if I charge the batteries first
