DSX9 with gov and gyro

Hey guys just want to check that i have this all plugged it right!

OK i have my gov pluged into throttle and gear
I have gyro plugged into rudder and aux2

On my DSX9 i have the gov feature on and the settings operate on the (NRM) ST-1 and ST-2.

the gyro possiton 0 and 1 work off the AUX4 ( rudder dual rate)


does this sound right??

the gyro gain setting in the transmiter want to be aux2,

dont forget to turn off the pitch trim on the side of the transmitter in device select, you have to do this every time though

f.mod Extra = inh
thro hold = hold sw
pit trim = inh
gear = gear sw
aux2 = aux2
aux3 = fmod sw
aux4 = aux2 sw

OUT: GOV GYR ACT INH

dont forget to turn off the pitch trim on the side of the transmitter in device select, you have to do this every time though

I suspect that's a typo Chris.

Only once you turn that off.

what i meant tim, was that you have to do this on every model you set up on the transmitter aprt from planks

Haven't got mine in front of me, but I think mine is the same. Maybe the ACT is INH on mine though and I use the extra flight modes too.

But I definitely use the Gov and Gyr functions - don't see the point in using servo endpoints when there's a dedicated facility for it built in.

DSX9 with gov and gyro

Hi Guys,

I have a related question...

I have a similar setup. I am a DSX9 with an RCE G600 governort and a Spartan gyro.

Using the previously mentioned setups I would like to know how you switch the gyro into the configuration mode. I have tried all of the switches and none of them are operating the gyro.

Could it be I have the travel adjust configured incorrectly somewhere?

I can adjust the gyro gain using the gyro menu, its just that I am in the habit of switching the gyro between rate mode and heading hold before taking off (as it keeps the tail inline as power is applied).
