HELP from a new DX7 owner

Took delivery yesterday of my shiny new SX7 and AR6100 for my T-rex and i'm a little stumped at the moment.

in the T-Rex450 ive got a GY401 ive had it all setup ok on my Futaba using the finless video's but I just cant figure the sensing on this set
Ive got the sensing wire plugged into the gear socket on the reciever but after that it all goes wonky.

I know I have to assign the gear to gyro sensing I think ive done that but when I go into gyro it only has rud d/r showing or auto.

can anyone give me tips on sorting this silly gyro out as everything else was fairly straightforward

Go to the Travel adjust menu option and keep pushing select. It will page to a second screen. The gear adjust is in there. Make sure you have the gear switch in HH and set the + setting to 55 to start with. Then switch the gear ch switch and set the - to the same.

cheers, got it sussed now.

switching nicely between hh and normal, the sensetivity on the DX7 has to be set above and below the 50 for each switch position to get it working, thats where I was getting it wrong I was comparing the set to a futaba radio which of course its not.

looks like ive got to wait a couple of days to see how it will perform now its setup.
