Spectrum DX7 Changing mode?

Can anyone tell me if its possible to change the tx mode from mode 1 to mode 3 in the menu on the Spectrum sets? I know this is probably totally alien to the majority of heli flyers but I fly throttle/collective and tail on the right stick.
