  • DX7 - AR7000 problem.

    I've got an AR7000 on my TR600 and I fly it off a DX7.

Just lately I've noticed that when I turn on the onboard power it has taken a long time to initialize, sometimes as long as 2 minutes, other times it doesnt initialize at all and I have to turn off the Tx and Rx and start again.
Once it initializes its fine, range checks ok and flies perfectly.
I did a re-bind last week and it cured the problem, it initialized imediatly and all was good. Yesterday I noticed that it had started taking longer to set itself, and in the end I had to re-bind it again.
I dont think its a Tx problem as it doesnt happen with any of my other models.
Anyone got any ideas as I'm not happy flying with a possible radio problem?

Personnally I wouldn't take a chance I would get straight onto Horizon let them know the problem and send them the Rx, their service department is fantastic and im sure they will check it out, upgrade to the latest firmware and get it back to you within a few days.

always better say than sorry, weekend before last I completely lost control on a model for a few seconds because of a faulty Rx, it aint funny luckily it all ended well, but believe me that Rx aint getting used again until its been thoughroughly tested.
      All the best
      Tony.
