DSX9. Wire chaffing/rubbing issue.

Had my DSX9 for apx 6 weeks and chuffed to bits with it.
I have just seen on line that the DSX9 had a issue with the wires chaffing and fix was mentioned and a link to the MACGREGOR site.I went to the site and the issue was indeed correct BUT they said the new TX`s from late 09 are ok and that the new ones have a blue sticker on the box and bottom of tx case.Mine as no sticker ,what should i do? Any tips or info?

Worth getting it checked, mine was the same 'no sticker' didn't know untill decked 3 heli's.
This was Feb time took it to MaGregor's Maidenhead & fixed it under warrenty.
Ring them they are very helpfull.

The modification is really easy - there should be instructions on MacGregor's website somewhere on how to do it yourself. I bet there's even a YouTube vid of it somewhere. I did mine with no probs and I'm scared witless of anything electrical.

Steve, I have took the back off mine and run into problem,perhaps you might recall while doing yours.

There is a thick and thin loom jionning the back of tx to the inner workings.This larger loom,it can go on the outside of the screw mount/piller which seems tight OR the inside with slack.I did not take the time to look first.
