  • programming JR 3810?

    hi guys

i'm having a right old time trying to program my 3810

is there an idiots guide anywhere or do i just need to spend more time reading the manual?

there does seem to be a fair amount of variables in there

i was thinking that would be the case

now i just need to work out what values to put into all the various blank spaces

i have a friend who flys about 2 miles away i can ask, him & his dad have been flying helis for years but they both have very different "ideas" on ideal setup

the trick is to get it all mechanically straight and equal using the rod lengths and get the horns at 90degs to the pushrod at centre stick. same goes for the rest of the bell cranks and levers

if you have throttle and pitch trim nobs you should disable them.

ideally all end points and sub trims should be zero in the transmitter.

your position on the learning curve and if your using training skids or a buddy lead dictates what your pitch range should be.

throttle curve is used to give a constant headspeed from 1/4 stick upwards in normal mode.

the Rappy & radio were set for 3D as the guy i bought that off was a bit of a nutter
i'll be looking to set it up a fair bit tamer for learning
also i've got no settings at all in the radio for the T-rex so i'll be starting that one from scratch

i'm gradually picking it all up as i go along

          thanks for your help
