The 10 is specifically designed for use in a transmitter tray, but theres no reason they wont transfer the "innards" to a more conventional looking Tx case.
I must say the DX8 looks real nice. I like the roller switch (A La dsx9) and the telemetry options look interesting as well.

i think the 10 actually is a tx tray Phil. there is a video of a guy demoing it and the straps clip onto two fold out brackets. its quirky looking but i have to admit i quite like it
