Lots of advantages, just thinking about the costs now.
    The module =1
    2 heli receivers
    4 mini plank receivers
    5 normal plank receivers

Think the bank manager is going to hate me

Found the Ad, but there's no mention that I can find on Spektrums site yet.

I like the idea myself - gives you a 'soft' changeover - I dont have to replace everything in one go and my FF9 is relatively new and does everything and more than I need. Now I can keep it

I doubt it'll happen David, as the FF7 is not module based.
FF9 and up should get them though, probably.

                  Cheers,

                    Bugger....It's a new set then

I'll have to stick with the FF7 until a better selection of 2.4Ghz get onto the market. Only bought mine 9 months ago?

                    Cheers Rob,

                      Hi David

My FF7 is only about 18 months old now but the way I see it is the more people move over to 2.4gHz the more free channels will be left for us.

                      Everyones a winner

                      Cheers

                        Hi

Spektrum Module systems for all JR module based radio's, the Futaba FF9 and 12/14MZ are due in around April/May time we have been told.
                        Interesting times!

                        Cheers

Agree on the channels. I have a Swift electric with (fingers crossed) no glitching, BUT BUT BUT, you never can say never. So the 2.4Ghz route is the way to go, but not so soon after just buying the FF7

And, I think it's worth waiting to see what the other manufacturers do with their prices, features, deals. Competition will hot up.

                          Watch this space...

                          Cheers

                            David,
if the modules for the PCM 9X are released soon and work okay I could see my DX7 transmitter may be becoming surplus to requirements
