      Module for my FF9 pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaasse

I know it will never happen but I can hope.

Interesting that Spektrum and Futaba use different way of locking onto the receiver.

Got a horrid VHS / Betamax feeling to it..
Note to self, Must Fly more

        I think it will.
I recall reading somewhere about models for 9, 12 and 14 radios.
        Possibly

And of course they would announce that just as I've got rid of all my futaba gear-FF8,FF9...Damn.......... -Don't get me wrong,I'am happy with my Spektrum gear-it's just that the tranny does'nt have that quality feel like the futaba stuff......Wonder why they decided to put it into 6EXA tranny- would have been better if they stuck it into a FF7 which is a much better unit..

I think they're following the same path that Spektrum took in starting at the low end and working upwards through the range?
            Cheers,

                Brilliant News

Love it - I went the Spektrum route but when Futaba produce a quality set like the 9C then I will do the U turn.
Love that Continuous Channel Shifting - " Would love to take one to a certain LMA club near here where they actually take 3 x 35mHz channels (pegs) for each flight incase of interference - and when they ask you what Channel your on you say havn't a clue and if I did know in 2 milliseconds it will auto change to another channel ". They would either have a heart attack or a committee meeting .

I already love replying "I'm not" to the question "what channel are you on?"

A module for the 9C would be nice I would definately move to 2.4G then.

Interestingly I know someone with a 14MZ which apparently does not have a 40MHz module available but Ripmax "sourced" one for the user anyway...

soon to be availble after market module and receiver for Futaba, hitec and JR equipment.
These guys have been about to make their stuff avaiable for a while now though.
You get to have a stubby antenna sticking out the back of your tx. and the Rx has a similarly rigid stubby sticking out at right angles too.
what happend to the strong rumour that JR was buying Spectrum?

                      Regarding the 6EX.
Why has this 6 channel tx got heli and aircraft programming when the 35Mhz set is specific heli or specific aero? Damned daft to make a radio that doesn't do both in this day and age. Its only software.
Perhaps a 6EXH can be made to be a 6EXA via some hidden software menu?
The price is good anyway. Who's to bet that 200 dollar price will be 200 quid when it gets to UK!!

I read yesterday that the 2.4G may have a problem losing the signal when flying or taxing a plane around long wet grass. Anyone else heard about this?

this could be possible because the range is significantly reduced when in close proximity to water, therefore the ground version is not suitable for boats, and I spose wet grass is close to being a lake!!
