  • Spektrum AR 6200 Battery pin Assignment

    Silly question but I dont't want to get it wrong.
    I am starting to set up my T-rex 450 servos and instead of using a lipo / Esc want to use 4 NiMH cells as RX power. I have a spare Rx plug but need to know the pin assignments.

    The plug on the ESC is (looking at it so you can see the gold connectors):

    Black Left
    Red Centre
    White Right

    Am I correct in assuming that:

    Black = Ground
    Red = + 4.8V
    White = Signal

    I could put a meter across but i'm sure you guys know the answer.

    Waited all afternoon with soldering iron in hand and no replies. So put the multimeter across and got:

    Black = Ground
    Red = + 6.0V
    White = 0V

      Yes, thats correct. The white cable is the data cable that tells your servo/esc what to do, the black is the negative - and the red is the posative +.

      Seems you've been waiting a while for a reply, hope this helps. Oh and BTW 4.8 to 6 volts will be fine.

        Also dont forget that if you are plugging in an external supply to the Rx that you have to disconnect power to the Rx from the esc
