ar7000 or rd721

Folks,

Am about to commence a new trex 500 build and am looking for advice on rx. In the past I was a DX6i chap and would have defaulted to the spektrum ar7000

Recently Ive upgraded to a dsx9 and so am starting to look favourably upon JR, so when it came to getting my rx for this bird I looked up JR and they do a dual-link 7 channel rx - the rd721, which is also cheaper (buying from hk).

Anyone got any perspective / watchouts / recommendation as to whether to pull the trigger on the rd721 or to just get an ar7000

If you decide to go down the the Spektrum route, you might want to consider the AR7600. It has the same properties as the AR7000, but its a bit smaller and ideal size for a 500.

Got an AR7000 in my 700 and had a couple more in the past, excellent rx IMO.

if you get them from hk just mnake sure they are dsm2 and not dsmj.
i use both jr and spektrum in my helis.
