  • DSX9-GOLD (limited) Service menu

    Hello,
I have tried to get into service menu of my DSX9 GOLD with DSX9 standard procedure JR 9XII service menu - RC Helicopter Wiki but it doesn't work.
Does anybody know how to get there? Please note that this is limited, gold version od DSX9
    Regards,
    Greg

There have been occasional posts about this before, and I have yet to find out...... Why would you want to? Why might I want to?

It's a genuine question by the way.

I used this in my previous DX6i and DX7 to recalibrate joysticks and - although actually everything is ok - I just want it "just in case". Secondary I use LiPo pack and want to change battery alarm level.

No - I didn't - I thought it doesn't matter. But have checked just minute ago and it didn't help either.

          Oh I see. Makes sense.

I have a standard 2200mAh NiMh pack in my DSX9 and it seems to last for ever. Never had the urge to put a LiPo in it. I've never had the voltage alarm go off since I've had it (several years).

I have two standard 1500mAh packs made a small mod so I can easily swap them and charge outside radio. However earlier I bought LiPo for DX7 and just thought using it with DSX9 - but have no urge.

Still - having access to Service Menu may be helpful in the future - although maybe never. I just like to know...

OK, so here is the actual way to get into a UK DSX9 service menu....

Pull Trainer Switch (top right) into the forward position and keep it there until you are in the service menu!!
Make sure the AILE D/R switch is up.
Power the set on while keeping ENT button on front panel pressed.
Rotate roller activator until Trim Step is highlighted.
Press roller activator on Trim Step, rotate to AILE.
Switch AILE D/R down, press roller activator, switch AILE D/R up, press roller activator keep doing this another 4 or 5 times more and you will enter the service menu.
