  • 1 Heli BNF with 2 Transmitters

ive been wondering if its possible to BNF a heli using a AR6100 rx to a DX7 & DX6i at the same time.. EG: fly the heli with the dx7 & then on the next flight fly it with the dx6i without having to do the rx binding all over again..

reason why im asking we are now wanting to use my dad's Belt CP as a test heli between us both but use our own tyranny's

Simple answer is no, not sure why you would want too

You could always use a buddy lead but that would mean using both tranny's at the same time.

I'm afraid not. The rx will only bind to one tx at a time.

You can however bind several rx's to one tx and in theory fly several models at once.

You would have to be an extraordinary pilot to do this but it is possible

Are you sure about this? I thought that was why spectrum used model match, so only one model would work with one Tx program although I would have at admit I've never tried.

Yup, I've tried it and it works. Bound an mCX and an mSR to one tx at the same time. Makes for very interesting flying

Mmm, Interesting. I always wondered how those Smith brothers managed to fly in sutch an identical way

Model Match uses the Model Memory in the Transmitter to differentiate between different model using differnet codes. It is possible to bind more than one model on the same model memory, using the same settings of course
              Thanks, Chris

                thanks for that

reason why is because i like the feel of my dx7 & my dad likes the feel of his own dx6, hence wanting to connect 2 tranny's to 1 heli

guess its a no go anyhow..

                thanks again.

thread closed as i have my answer thanks given
