    Hi,
I have recently bought a DX6i with Phoenix Sim in a bundle. i know that when you normaly want to bind it to a heli you plug it ninto the reciever and go through the binding process. When i got it it didnt come with a plug and i am wanting to bind it to my MCX and my CX2. I was just wondering what i need to do to bind it to my helis.
    Thanks

I don't have an mCX, but I've got an mSR, and you don;t need a bind plug for that. I'm pretty sure the mCX is the same. After ensuring you have a correct model memory set up in the DX6i, turn it off. Put a battery in the mCX, then follow the bind instructions for the DX6i. Should be fine.

Not sure on CX2, but on MCX you switch OFF your DX6i, then plug battery into MCX and after a few seconds the LED will start flashing - this means its ready to bind. Hold up trainer switch on DX6i and power it on, and I hold the trainer switch up until the MCX servo's center and light goes solid - this can take 10-15 seconds so be patient.

CX2 check the manual, I can't remember how that binds, but it might be similar, as it doesn't have a separate receiver so may not have a bind plug either.

As above for the mCX, the CX2 does need a bind plug though, I think to be honest it is just a shorting link? On the CX2 it goes on the receiver, on the 2 pins labelled as 'Batt'

I don't know if anybody can confirm if the bind plug is just a shorting link? I would not try it unless you get confirmation.

*ETA* I have just taken mine out of the box and had a look at it, if it is anything other than a simple shorting link I will eat my hat, however confirmation would still be nice. Basically if it is just a shorting link you can replicate the effect of a bind plug by bridging the 2 pins labelled 'Batt' on your CX2's receiver, do this with the battery disconnected, then connect the battery, the CX2 will be in bind mode

Get a servo lead with a plug on it expose the signal orange/white wire and also the negative brown/black and join together,
1 home made bind plug. As has been said,
If your really unsure drop a pm to me ill send you one
