10c / 7c Buddy Setup

Chaps,

Im trying to train a mate but having a few issues with the buddy setup. Im using a 10c as a master with a 7c as a slave. Despite replicating the pitch, throttle, strim, epoint, afr and setting all of the training functions to "func" when i flick the training switch the swash goes off level. I just cant figure whats causing it. Any suggestions on what to check next?

Am not sure but i did not think you programmed the second transmitter, just plug it in and make sure the servos don't need reversing. probably tottaly wrong. I think you do not turn the second one on just plug it in,

Tried and failed :-( and the manual only seems to tell you how to setup as the master .............
