Weve had ours more than a few years lol .

I use Duracell dry cells , have for years never had a problem or a flat battery rechargables are nowhere near as reliable

lol that's possibly why but you could try and revive them by charging them at a propper slow rate because the energizer charger ive got is a fully automatic fast charger dunno if yours is the same

just two options I have on mine and they determine what batt types they are.

yeah AA or AAA i guess the same as mine but you need another charger to slow charge them

mine charges at 360ma per batt but the slower charger i have charges at 150ah per batt
