  • dx6i or dx7

I'm still using a jr3810 but would like to go 2.4ghz. Only flying electrics so would a dx6i do me? Are the controls on this transmitter going to be less acurate than my 3810 or say a dx7? i am on a budget hence why i'm still using the 3810 so i'm hoping it will do!

    Cheers

Easy one to answer, stick with the 3810. Contrary to what everyone would have us believe theres nowt wrong with 35meg. If you are going to do it then consider the DX7 it's got Rechargeable batteries Nimh rather than the dry cells of the Dx6.

There has also been throttle channel problems with the dx6i, the dx7 I have has been great so far a must of the club i'm at use them or the JR range were 2.4 only as we have a plank flying site that is close .
speak to concept copters they have dx7 at a pretty good price also

i would just spend that little bit more and get the dx7 but with you on a budget stay with the 35meg until you have enought saved up m8 if you go for the dx6i then you will wish later that you went for the dx7
          only my 2p worth lol

If you wish to go to 2.4G, then the DX7 is worth the extra money now, cos if you get a DX6i, in a years time, you will wish you had bought the DX7 in the first place. Ask me how I know.........lol
