Dx7 ??

Yeah the quality isn't bad.. it doesn't feel as nice as my PCM10x.. but.. then I really wouldn't expect a Fiesta to feel like the quality of an Aston!

I do like the long aerial on the PCM10x.. especailly angled up infront of you because for F3C work it is great for a rough centre point guide..

I am seriously considering swapping all my machines over just for the peace of mind.. and knowing that the few features that are missing I can probably do in mixers.. though I'm still deciding on the best way of driving a G7000T and a governor.. but I'll get there!

Got a DX7 this morning £242 at Alans Models Whitley Bay , he matched the price others were quoting.

Think I'll try it out on something not to expensive just in case !!

Thanks - Don't think I'm in any doubt about the set - I think it's more my stupidity when it comes to something different. Spent all my modelling life with Futaba -- so learning the ways of JR may tax my ageing grey matter.

Just as a heads up Futaba(hawk spit) have recently released a current car stick radio in 2.4Ghz so other things must be in the works...


Come on DX9 I don't want to turn to the dark side...yes!! I have heard the rumours that the DX9 maybe a Futaba set but I can't see it myself it will be a 9303 based set...please

Mate went from a JR 9X to a 14MZ which lasted 2 weeks, back to a 9X then tried a 12MZ or whatever the suffix is and he's now back using a 9X2 so I think I'm right just hope Spektrum do the right thing. all the other radios are JR based I can't see them changing as the parent company is linked to the JR group

Oh come on,this is my set up requirements for my Titan

No D/R or expo needed,need to set servo direction and travel limits
No subtrim needed
I need a Throttle hold,a basic 5 point curve for Th and Pitch

Throttle is a straight line in Norm and a v curve in idle up 1 and 2(the same)

Pitch is a straight line right thru

I need a channel to set my gov speed and gyro gain and mode


Its all anybody needs in a radio

No stupid mixes required as running a governor


What i really need but lack is the ability in my brain to coordinate the sticks like you,,,

No £1500 quid radio is gonna help me do that

I just think its way too expensive,ive seen them but they do nothing for me

its worth 1500ukp purely for the feel of the thing in your hands and G3. Full synth channel setting from the tx.

yes i know the dx7 does that too but i doubt futaba are far off that game.

flight mode delay is very useful, helps to stop you killing the engine when you abort the auto which always happens just when you need it.

cyclic/throttle mixes help the gov keep up if running a revlock or ATG.

at your level, every little helps.
