Yeah i know what you mean i did have problems with them in the past but it was sorted out properly in the end.
Also having looked at some of the other sites prices they arent the cheapest either,
Ive always found inwoods to be a little cheaper than most but cant find these on there site yet

                Your right Keith.
They rang me this morning to see if I was okay - they were worried the card was stolen and the crooks were not spending enough.

Thanks Bob will give you a ring .

Spektrum DX7 is on Tyneside today!!

Our local model shop has just got A Spektrum DX7 in so - going with a group to have a play and see what all the fuss is about.

Its a nice radio, does everything i want, staying with 35meg for a fair while yet though but will eventually go fullySpektrum

Im waiting for the plug in module for my JR Txs,then i will grab one of them

Will then keep the DX7 Tx for my parkfliers etc or as a backup

Yes that's sort of what I'm working towards - My Zap is getting on a bit and don't fancy paying crazy prices for these 12mz things.
So may well settle for Spektrum's

Took my DX7 out a couple days back and it was great. Lacking in a few features sure but not enough to feel I was lacking anything hugely important which a couple of the inbuilt mixers couldn't do for me.

For the price you can't really grumble..

                        Cheers

Have you got used to its lightness in the hand and the lack of antenna

Also have you increased the stick tension,i found them too soft

                          Like it though

Also does yours make a humming sound when its on and transmitting?

Just noticed mine doing it and wondered if it was normal

                            The humming is perfectly normal.

I fly with a mini tray so the weight/balance on the neck strap is no problem.

The sticks were too soft.. so the first thing I did was whip the back off and tighten the springs right up.

I can't understand why people keep on insisting in comparing it to top end sets like a 10x or a 14mz.. it's a £250 set.. or £170 without the receiver and servos...

I could do with a couple more channels.. but.. it's certainly good enough.. and the speed of the system coupled with the inability to get shot down (or shoot somebody else down!) sold it for me.

Oh yeah.. no aerials on the models to stand on anymore either!

                            Cheers

                              Thankyou Mark

I just noticed the humming and wondered

I have got the sticks at a nice tension now

Agreed on the comparison thing, personally i think it feels of very high quality

Very impressed with the whole package

Also the amount of times ive nearly took someones eye out with the telescopic Tx antennas
