  • Times I've done it

As the title says my excuse is" got distracted & forget to switch TX off, had couple of flights this morning before work then went to have another lunch time 'oh bugger' TX batteries flat, is it just me or have we all done it.
So what remedies we have for resolving this, think mine may have to be a wire from the switch to my finger.
Today's outlook is fine for flying.

In all honesty I think this is the one "sin" I've not committed. Give me time tho.

Never done it. Never even had the low-level voltage alarm go off.

There's always a first time for everything though.

I can put my hands up to doing this a few times.
Tiz what fast charger's were made for.
just dont put the amps up over 1.5 ,
or your fast charge lead gets a tad warm

I have never left it on after flying, but i have left it plugged into the PC (dx7, which switchs on by its self when plugged into the PC) and it went flat over night

I've done it. Shouldn't be difficult to solve with software, though: if you leave it on and don't touch any control for, say, 10 minutes it should start beeping. Perhaps even power off after 30 mins of no activity? I'm struggling to think of a scenario where that would be a problem.

Fortunately I've nether done it at the field but I am thinking of ways to prevent it from happening again.

I've done it a few time, but I've got a big NiMh in mine, so it will last a good couple of hours . . . . more time to spot it.

If you're still on 35MHz there's a bigger problem, if the Tx is switched on but the aerial is retracted, the Transmission module can get pretty hot !, not recommended.

Why does it always persist down at weekends ?
