  • Change of tx possible?

I'm contemplating changing the tx that came with the Perkins Skylift to something....well, better.

Can someone recommend a decent tx that will work with the Skylift radio without major modifications or complex reprogramming please?

Not sure what radio you have got, but I don't think its possible unless your receiver is Spektrum DSM2 Compatible.
No doubt somebody else will either confirm or correct me on this.

this was tried a while back with pretty disastrous outcomes - have a search through the forums as I can't remember who it was but it took a serious amount of time and money and never worked as well as it did on the stock tx from memory.

Here's a link to one of John Bower's many threads on trying to do it.

OMG...that sounds way over my head, hadn't a clue what the guys were talking about. I just wanted a 35mhz tx which would be a direct swap for the 35mhz tx as supplied, but after reading that little lot...I'm totally confused.

Gentlemen, I thank you for the assistance...much appreciated.
