FF7 set up

looking for a quick bit of help.

i have just gone through the basic H1 set up but when i was testing as i apply throttle im not getting any pitch change, is this down to a mix or something that ive missed? I'll be very greatfull is i can be pointed in the right direction, i been reading the manual i am just getting myself in a muddle

shouldnt need a mix setting as in the heli mode its automatically set from what I remember.

Have you made sure your pitch ranges are not all set to all the same value? as that would make the pitch not change when you move the throttle.

I have the FF7 so will try and help any way i can.

Are trying to set up CCPM? or normal swash

I think H1 on the FF7 is for normal swash (just double check in the manual lol!)

and the EVO is CCPM?

Is it a new futaba 7c or the old FF7 ?

the heli is a zoom 400 copy but i dont think its ccpm..

as if it is the CCPM version then very possibly a good reason the pitch isnt doing anything etc!

Also another good point (dam these early Sunday mornings lol!) is the Tx, as I have the 7C so if it is the old FF7 then it could be different in the manual etc.

dam it, think im gonna go back to bed for a few more hours lol!

if its a zoom copy its not ccpm it will have a pin up a hole in the mainshaft that moves the washout up and down.

what is the electronics setup on this? is it an all in one jobby with esc and rx in one unit?

i would start by making sure that the pitch servo is in channel 6 If it is in channel 6 try it in channel one, make sure that when you move the aileron stick that servo moves.

does a heli appear on the main front screen of the tx?

ive hot a hitec rx on this, pitch servo is in channel 6 ans ive tested it in another channel and can movement from it...im still very new with the teh 7c so thought i had missed something out..

it may be that you havnt selected heli mode. There should be a little heli on the top line between the model number and model name.

when you plug it in is it powered and holding a location or is it dead? Tried twisting the pitch nob?

i have a little heli icon on the screen...as for powered on i think so....and where is the pitch nob??

right... you have a heli that means you should be getting stuff.

reset the model memory and if that doesnt work then its either tx or rx. do you have another rx you could try?

you really should have bought a schulze anyway :-)
