When bring my 600n into land on my second flight yesterday i had a problem with the radio connection.
I flew the heli just past me side on and flared it out to land, as i went to level out and up the throttle/collective i got no response and the heli landed tail first taking out the t/t front gears i thought at first that i'd ran low on fuel and the throttle hadn't responded, but the heli was still running and the rx had gone into failsafe, as the servos were still powered up but i had no radio connection with my dx7.I started to examine the heli and the rx suddenly started to work again whilst turning the rotor head, then stopped, it did this a couple of time i guess.I removed the canopy to see the rx and remote rx as it had lost connection again, no lights were on either rx device, whilst touching the antenna on the main rx it responded to the transmitter throttle stick postion and the lights lit up again on both rx's but not flashing so couldn't be a voltage interuption.(i did measure the battery voltage with the rx and transmitter powered up when got home and it was showing 5.01/4.8v whilst moving the collective stick up and down, i run a 4300 nimh).
I have not been able to get this to happen since but now have a question mark over AR700 and DX7 as don't no which is at fault.
I'm going to speak to HH tomorrow to see what they can come up with.
Btw it's been well over 12months since this heli last made unplanned contact with mother earth so no recent crash to cause the rx to be at question.
Any thoughts/ experience ?
