I noticed this today while perusing FL's site 9 point curves and support for twin engine planks appear worthy of note. Also the latency is lower than Spektrum (A) and JR (B) but they seem to have left of Futaba which I believe is faster at about 7ms.

The RD8000 was their previous top end Tx competing with the 7C / DX7 I guess. This competes with 10CG, DSX9 and is a bit cheaper although I know of only one chap that flies Sanwa (RD6000) for his planks.

Hi.I have used my Sanwa rds6000 super for years and never had a problem.Wish i could say the same of my 7C.I now use the sanwa for the sim now but would have another sanwa no probs and that looks like great value.

I had a look at this radio in Midlands last night, although it is Sanwa in the UK, not Airtronics?

        Cheers,

Spooky - I've just been in Inwoods shop in the last hour with my hands on one of these radios. As Rob says, it's Sanwa over here and priced at around £350 for a 10 channel 2.4GHz radio - very competitive. The receivers are cheap as well - less than £40 I think for a 7 channel one.

The radio looks a bit cheap and is light in the hands. The sticks/gimbals feel orrible. However, I'm well used to JR transmitters, so maybe I'm just used to great feeling sticks and am being over-critical here. All teh switches are 3 position and are fully programmable like Futaba sets. The 2.4 GHz technology is basically the same as Futaba channel-hopping as well, but I don't know if they are compatible with each other. The receivers have 2 long aerials and no satellite like Futaba.

The one I looked at had a 1600mAh NiMh battery pack in it.
