Dx6i Trim Tab

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement trim tab for my Dx6i as it only works in 1 direction.

There is one on BMFA classifieds.

..but id rather phone up Horizon Hobby and ask for one, as they usualy send them free of charge

If you email Horizon Hobby, as I did, they will most likely send you one free of charge. They did for me!

Thanks, I e-mailed the guy on BMFA but I'm just trying to cover my bases as I've just finished my T-rex 500 and re-built by Blade 400 so don't want any down time!!

Hi,

They can be repaired, i did as a "temporary" fix about 9 months ago! Just a drop of CA to join the "T" horizontal on, then use a few wraps of cotton thread and add a little more CA. Stronger than original.

Yup,you can glue them with ca and then a blob of expoxy in the angle to reinforce it...reinforce them all while you got the back of cos i bet you another will go...plastics thinner than a rizla
