    Futaba T8FG

    A new TX in the offing from Futaba

    T8FG????(??????) - ?????

    Looking at the pictures it looks to have program mixing to get rid of any swash interaction like the more expensive 12FG or 14MZ.

    Also designed for a 2 cell li-po.

      and has backlight screen as used on 10c..one thing i really hate about fg. Pain that you can't read it well all the time, low light hopeless.

            Can you explain what a swash ring is please?
            When you max out the cyclic pitch on a model it is not uncommon for the system to bind up when you give full elevator and aileron input. If you fly mode 2 you can get a plastic ring that fits on the tx that then stops you giving full elevator and aileron input. If you fly mode 1 you can't do this so it needs to be done electronically. That is what the swash ring does.

              Just to add little to that...
              As i was told having greater pitch gives little more pop in pitch lower down the range. I used to have my trex600 14/14-+ pitch! whoops Now 11/11'ish -+
