Another DX7 question :-)

Hi guys

Just set up my DX7 for my 500. For the life of me I can't seem to find the Expo switch programming function. I've set 10% expo into Ail, Ele and Rud and want to combine them into one switch.

I've read the manual and can see it can be done. However I can't see the Dual Rate Select Switch menu anywhere.

Help...

just flick the switch if remember rightly, set up one rate, flick the switch and it will change to the next on the screen before your very eyes lol

Does that allow me to assign all three expo settings onto one swithc, i.e. assigning the aileron switch to control all 3?

nope, one for each im afraid, ut remember rudder dual rate one side on that is your thottlehold so set the same for both,just out of curiosity why you using dual rates??

I've got a GY401 Tony.

Having put bound the DX7 with my T-rex 500, I found I've almost had to set the head up again, as well as re-program the ESC.

I couldn't get the pitches right no matter what I did, even tho they were spot on with the DX6i. And when I powered the heli up, the ESC went into bleepy bleepy bleep mode.

You can set it up so that you have different expo/rates when you change the flight mode switch between normal/idle1/2 -it will change all three together (obviously along with changing your throttle/pitch curves).

I could tell you exactly how to do it but I'd have to get my tx in front of me -let me know if you need any info.
