DX7 Questions

Hi Guys

Well I did warn ya! Here's the first couple of my DX7 questions:

1) Is there a way to switch models without turning the radio off and on again?
2) Having entered into a menu option of any kind, is there a quick way of getting back out of the menus, i.e. to display the "main" screen that shows the model name and model type?

Wonder why they didn't use a similar system to the DX6i to select models? Safety perhaps?

One thing to note. When you change models the timer doesn`t work untill you reboot the TX.

Thanks Tosh. To clarify I have to turn the Tx off, turn it on to change the model, turn it off again, then turn it on???

No,turn it off then back on holding the buttons then select model,leave it on and press the 2 buttons again and you in the main screen
