Mart61 has a Dx6i for sale - check sales in this forum.

Spektrum/JR over Futaba for Model Match; ease of programming, big reliable range of low cost 2.4 Rx's, Service from HH (if you ever need it) is top class.

Firstly it is easy to blame the Radio for a crash, but not so easy to prove.

Secondly, I assume you refer to the 'brown-out issue'? This is not a Spectrum problem per see; it is all 2.4 Rxs don't like going low voltage - Spektrum Quick Connect (standard on all current and free upgrade to older ones without) alleviate this significantly - so too much load (eg 5 servos, plus Rx, plus gyro) on too small a battery or ESC built-in BEC is the real cause. If you have £100's of helicopter - spend a few on a decent external BEC with a switched regulated output, and the problem won't happen.

I have all three...Futaba 6EXH 2.4, Spektrum DX6i and DX7. There is no question that the DX7 is the better tx. If your budget wont stretch to a DX7 then I would say go for the DX6i as it has more features than the futaba. There were issues with the 6i (the elevator pot was faulty on mine but horizon replaced it for free and I have had no issues whatsoever since) The only downside in comparison I can see with the 6i is that its not as comfortable to hold as the futaba. So between the two go for the DX6i but as mentioned it wont be too long before you say "wish i had got the DX7"
              Cheers

                Hi
I am a Futaba fan, and , surprisingly, I will say Spektrum.
I have no problem with Futaba transmitters, but I do with the cost of receivers. Futaba used to produce a relatively low cost receiver, the R606FS. Then they discontinued it, and recommended the R617FS instead. The cheapest I have seen these for is £69. When you have as many helis as I do (20 and counting) that is quite a cost.
There is a rumour that Futaba will be producing a more wallet friendly receiver, later this year, but no idea when it will be available over here.

Just my tuppen'orth, hope it helps.
