ive been flying loads and fed up with charging nightly.
Do you fly when it is dark?

Do you fly in your sleep?

I put mine on a very low charge rate and go to bed. The pack is fully charged in about 6 or 7 hours.

I have just got a 10CG and it doesn't seem to consume as much power as my old 9C does.

I'm using a 2600mAh 3S lipo I sourced from abroad when I was placing an order for other bits but I know Blink stock a similar size Outrage TX lipo. The big advantage is that I now only charge every 6 weeks or so plus lipo's have a very low self discharge rate, unlike most (but not all) nimhs so the routine of charging overnight before flying is a distant memory. One other advantage is that you can charge it in less than an hour if it's getting a bit low.

The disadvantage? It invalidates your warranty and may cause harm to the TX, although this hasn't been my experience.

I use a maxamps 2500 with balancing lead, and used same in my 9C before, it takes so long to discharge that I can never remember when I last charged it, but probably more than a month.
