  • Asign Throttle to Aile/Elev

Does anyone know how I can asign small amount of throttle to aile & elev with the DX7 that if it can be done with the DX7 I dont want to up the throttle pitch as I've got it set just right so all my heli's have the same feel to them with exception to my Trex 600 nsp I need more power when giving large amounts of aile/elev.
Today's outlook is fine for flying.

Yup, Pretty Much can do that, its called mixing.. in the prog mix menus and you have 3 that you can set up

I had a mix set up where i imput rudder it increases the throttle a bit to cure the bog that extreme piroing can do

Simply Browse trough the menus till you see Prog Mix 1 or something like that, then you select Aile > Throttle then the Precentage you want the throttle to increase, do this for the others, but with Elev > Throttle

I think you can assign a switch aswell, not too sure though

    Hope this Helps

      Hi

Use one of the MIX CHANELS.

mix the chanel you want i.e. ail to throttle.

Around 20% is a good figure. Make sure that the throttle high point is about 90%. Check for overdriving of the throttle servo. There is a + and - figure if you are not sure wich value to set look at the throttle servo while moving the chanel you mixed it to.

This can be tied into the flight mode switch.

This is how i understand it.

Ar I think thats where I must of went wrong I may of adjusted the wrong way as it didn't seem to work so I assumed its poss cant be done on DX7 anyhows I'll give it another go.

I've done it before using the programable mixes on my DX7 so it's definitely possible. I don't have my DX7 here right now though so I can't give you detailed info on how it's done but Callum's post above sums it up pretty well I'd say.

              Hi

Make sure you set it up as cyclic to throttle mix and not the other way round.

              First of all:

              Enable P-Mix1
Set aileron as master and throttle as the slave
              Rate + (15 to 20%)
              - (15 to 20%) (use servo mon to check correct direction)
              Switch position to On
              Offset to 0

              Enable P-Mix2
Set Elevator as master and throttle as the slave
              Rate + (15 to 20%)
              - (15 to 20%) (use servo mon to check correct direction)
              Switch position to On
              Offset to 0

If you set your max Throttle point to 90% not 100% it will help avoid throttle binding at high throttle values

Sub trim can be used to stop the throttle servo binding.

Use servo montor function to see it working.

This is my understanding of it
