I guess the clarification needed from probuild is to contradict this statement:

The other possibility is that Probuild may grey import DSM-J sets. DSM-J is a frequency hopping version of DSM that is intended for the Japanese market only. DSM-J is not compatible with either JR/MacGregor DSM-2 or Spektrum DSM-2 products. Current DSM users would need to replace all their DSM-2 receivers to use a DSM-J transmitter.
    Is it a grey import?

Also, if Probuild are offering the DSX transmitters that do NOT require a change of receiver from those people are already using, then something is getting fudged in the facts here?

I think grey imports are bad for UK business, personally.
I'm not suggesting this is or is not being grey imported - just that if it is, it shouldn't be.
    Just my opinion
    Cheers,
    Rob

Have a look at the updated prices on JR stuff on inwoods website. The DSX9 and 12 have dropped in price. Hmmmm... tempting.

        Cheers

I have just seen inwoods new price on JR.
Does this mean that the price will drop at the other suppliers.

Going back a few years all transmitters use to have serial numbers on them so that you could track them from manufacture to the point of sale . I've noticed alot of the newer radio sets dont have these now- certainly with my Spektrum DX7 and my newly purchased DSX9 I cant see these (unless they are inside the casing).
