  • DSX12/12X Gimbal Tension Mod

    Hi all,
For some time now I have been trying to find out how to do a mod on my DSX12/12X Gimbals, as even with the spring tension at it's weakest setting the sticks are quite stiff. Anyway, I have been sent details of how to safely remove the back from the TX to allow access to the springs and allow them to be changed or modified.

Instructions for removing rear cover of a DSX12.pdf
I will however like to point out that if you remove the back from your TX that you will invalidate your warrenty.

    Mike.

I guess I'm just lucky then.
I really luv my DSX12, but found the spring tension to be very stiff. It's acceptable at it's weakest setting, but I too am not going to fiddle until it's out of warrenty.

Well it would suit me fine because my DSX9 has the rudder/aileron/elevator springs tightened as far as they will go.
