  • Smoothing out the thottle stick on a DX7?

I have a Spektrum DX7 and despite slackening off the tension on the throttle stick it's still slightly jerky when your trying to make small throttle adjustments.
Does anyone have any tips on how to make this nice and smooth, I thought about taking it apart and filing off the indents on the plastic but I've already got it loose enough that you don't feel these and yet it's still sticky, any idea's?

      hi there
sound like you need to turn the tension plate over as there should be a smooth one and a a ribbed one ( the ribbed one is for fixed wing)
you dont need to file off any indents
      cheers

I put a small piece of fuel tubing over my plate. It's smooth but stays in position too..
