Mcgregor Rx & Futaba FF&

Hi

Can any of you helpful people out there help me out with this. Do you know if a Mcgregor synthesised dual channel Rx, RS10DS, can be used with a Futaba 35 MHz, PCM transmitter, FF7.

i would always use the same make of elctronics as the last thing you want is a glitch when flying

There are always compatability issues when mixing differant receivers and transmitters which will probably result in a crash costing far more than the price of the correct matching parts

hi it is highly unlikely that you can use a jr pcm receiver with futaba pcm tx or viseversa they are not the same if it was ppm then you can use either rx combo and it will work.

Thanks to the people who replied to this question. Saved me a lot of hassle later on when I would be trying to get incompatible systems to work together. Will now buy a Futaba Rx to go with my Futaba Tx.

I've used other manufacturers receivers with a JR TX but only with PPM, PCM is as propriety as 2.4ghz, you can only use same manufacturers TX & RX together.
