Based Loaded Antenna
Hello,
I bought a based loaded antenna which designed for 35 MHz from one of the models show to replace my broken telecope aerial on my FF9.
However, some people told me that this antenna is not allowed to use on the transmitter, because the insurance will not cover it.
I did a range test with my friend by have this antenna on the transmitter and walk as far as I can to see if this antenna has a shorter range than telecope aerial. After tested both base loaded aerial and Telecope aerial, we found both aerial were out of the rang at the same distance. Which mean there is no range reduction with this base loaded antenna.
We are quite please with the result from our test and I think I would like to use this base loaded antenna on my transmitter.
Does anyone have one of this base loaded Antenna fit on their transmitter to share their experiences on using this antenna?
