walkera 2801 TX ?????

anyone had any dealings with this tx? or is it just one of those cheap copys that only works with its self and don't do that correctly??

they look like a nice radio but just wondering what everyone thinks?

think i'll buy spektrum when i get round to it though.

I am pretty sure it will only work with Walkera stuff. You're far better off buying a spektrum set

Yip its for Walkera helis only mate. Could be a great option for the 4#3B & G. It was a right mess on dealing with dip switches and dials to alter pitch/throttle curves/expo on the stock 4#3G TX.

buzzflyer sent me down one to try on the new esky king3 they sell the 8 channel rx seperately so its no different to any other tx 2.4gig tx out there.

software is on a par with a dx7, but the mechanics arent quite as nice but if you can get it cheap enough its a good budget radio.

other nice thing is it binds with the 4#3 and 4g3 although with older rx's you dont get the full features although i believe this is changing. if you have a 4g3 with 2605a rx then you get can use all the normal features of the tx. even without the full features the 4#3/buzzfly flies much nicer on the 2801 tx.

i also have an enerco 500 using the 2801 so its defo not limited to small models either. Once i get it dialed in and i have remembed how to fly helis again i will get some vid.

i havnt had any problems and not read of any either.

do you think they would bind upto a spektrum rx? if so might look at one to fly my T-rex
and is it me or do they look alot like the JR 2610?

no, defo wont bind to a spektrum rx but thats normal, just like a futaba rx wont bind to spektrum or vice versa.

the dx7 uses JR cases and the bulk of the electronics which is why you wont see a JR 7 channel 2.4 or spektrum 9+ channel tx.
