  • FF10 pit curves help please

    hi all
ok on my ff7 i have pit curves set on my trex 450 for
    35 55 70 85 100 in norm
    0 25 50 75 100 in idle 1
    0 25 50 75 100 in idle 2

im trying to copy the settings into my ff10 and im a little confused as on the pit curves on the ff10 it starts with a -100 number and moves up to a + after mid stick and ending at +100
so can any one tell me what i need to dial in please , as to keeping the same settings
and which points on the tx do i need to take out as the ff10 has 7 point curves
do i just put the setting into the STK settings or the out setting i had the same prob the other day when i tryed to set my trex 600 up all was fine untill i came to the pitch curves so still not set that up yet as well .
i have looked at the vids on helifreak and have posted there to but im really confused (and im pritty sure im not having a blond moment to )

    thanks for any help

Put the values into the stick settings. Then get a pitch gauge to verify your results.

The way I see it top, middle and bottom settings will match. Look at the graph that is being drawn on the screen and just put some numbers in to smooth graph out between the points.

Live dangerously and experiment a little. lol.

ok have made the OUT settings on each point so they have become linear (bad spell ) on each idle up , also is it right that i should have a red light flashing when i go into idle up 1 and 2 with a mix being shown on the main screen
and thank you for your time and help

i have put my numbers into the STK settings and changed the OUT settings so i have a linear curve
          here is what i have
          norm
          OUT / STK
          -100 / 0
          -55 / 21.5
          -30 / 35.0
          + 7 / 55.0
          +39 / 70.0
          +68 / 85.0
          +100 / 100

          idle 1 and 2
          OUT / STK
          -100 / 0
          -92 / 2.0
          -52 / 25.0
          0 / 50.0
          +29 / 65.5
          +53 / 75.0
          +100 / 100

          i think this is right.
It really through me with the -100 +100 setting im sure ill get use to it, once again thanks
          regards
