DX6i

Does anyone know where I can get a DX6i by itseld without the Rx?

Just want it to go with Phoenix for now - then IF I progress I can go forward from there.

The only place I can find is here http://www.micronradiocontrol.co.uk/spektrum.html but it seems like every place, they are running out of stock for as long as I can remember. You can try your luck in the for sale probably.Ed

All stock have been returned back to Horizon Hobby (UK Distributor for Spektrum) for testing and updating to fix the pot bug. I've sent mine to my local store and they are going to test and fix. They said that Spektrum has asked for all of its batches DX6I's to be returned back to base for testing. Hope that helps.

Why not buy the TX & RX combo & sell the RX?

Just thought it was easier to buy Tx only - dont think I have sufficient posts to sell and it's a bit of a carry on! Obviously it's not easier from comments on availability or lack of it. Perhaps I'll buy Tx and Rx and keep Rx - can then fit to one of the fleet IF I get that far or sell the package if I don't!

Thanks but prefer to go for the latest model and I suppose that will be out of date before long. Anything electronic/computerised soon dates these days - just have to remember if it does the job keep your hands in your pocket!

Latest news from Horizon UK is they "hope" to have DX6i available for sale again in a couple of weeks but incoming stock to them at this time is I think largely beyond their control so I would take this date with a pinch of salt, personally I suppect this couple of weeks could stretch in to a month but who knows!

Thanks Bob for the notice. I've sent in my DX6i to the local hobby store for Horizon to pick up and test. I hope that it will be updated with the anti bug update lol. And they setup my profile for my blade 400 properly. So I won't be online flying for couple months then

Checked my DX61 as recommended above and its fine.. but i called the LMS where I got it and they are sending ALL Tx back to Horizon for update I gather..

Might not be flying for a bit!!
