  • pcm9x2 blowing fuse

I had an issue the other week with the rx crystal falling out and it cost a set of blades, thinking the way i do i decided to get a spektrum 2.4 module set for my pcm9x2, so i set about fitting it all today followed all the instuctions and had a test fly all went well until my 600 came down on its legs, not with my doin then stalled. upon investigation not a hard to see the tx was turned off, again not my doing. tried turning off then on again no joy. last time i looked it was on 10.3v, there was no beeping from it. removed the back and the fuse had blown. i dont have a spare to put in it and try for the moment. any ideas why this happend? loosing confidence with it very fast!

I had the same problem with my Specktrum module in the pcm 9x2. I sent back to midlands for a replacement, replaced fuse and all was fine.

        Geez Chris,
Not having a lot of luck are you?
Its tough when things like this happen, particularly when your just starting out. Its enough to put you off for good.
        Stick at it mate.
        Adrian.
