Copy model from DX6i to DX7 ?

Can anyone please tell me whether it's possible to copy a model from a DX6i to a DX7 using a trainer lead ? I seem to remember doing this years ago with a JR X3810 and fixed wings but can't find anything in the books about it. Thanks

Thanks Boggy - I thought it might be an evening of that. But it's worth it, fantastic tranny the DX7 - just feels so right And the DX6i is going into work with the MCX to annoy the girls in the office.

perfect use for it still a good little tx though. i think it feels tougher than the 7, and dont worry about knocking it about as much
